Class 37/4 in Large Logo, 47/7 plus push and pull sets in ScotRail livery were part of the everyday scene in the late 80’s around Scotland. This train is designed to give SRPS Railtours Customers the chance to travel on one of our tours in 2024 behind our own 37/4 and while our coaches are being overhauled the chance to travel on some ScotRail liveried coaches reviving Chris Green’s ScotRail era.
Many thanks to LSL for the ScotRail set and coaches plus our friends at Crewe Diesel Preservation Group for making 47712 available for us.
Our train will leave Bo’ness hauled by our own 37403 with 47712 taking over for the run into Edinburgh. A run via the Fife Coast to as Kirkcaldy then across to Glasgow Queen Street via Kincardine with 37403 before a run up to Perth with 47712 before 37403 takes us to Crewe via the well-known landmarks of Larbert, Beattock and Shap.

Standard Class Seating Arrangements
Reserved seating is arranged at tables of 4 and panoramic windows. A buffet bar is available for the purchase of hot & cold beverages, light refreshments, and alcoholic drinks.
